My Girl
A variety of trips can be taken from Weymouth harbourside including visits to Henry VIII’s Portland Castle on the historic vessel My Girl.

Or take a trip around Portland Harbour, leaving from the Ferry Steps by the Pavilion - alternatively Bob will take you across to Nothe Parade for 20p in his rowboat and then it’s a 5 minute walk up to the top for a fine view across the Breakwaters to Portland or make a visit to the Nothe Fort out at the end.

See www.fortressweymouth.co.uk for further details.

The Harbour Master and his team at Weymouth can be reached on 01305-206423.

Details for access to Portland Port can be found at their website or, boat and dive permits can be bought from Jannine or Bos at The Old Harbour Dive Centre adjacent to Nelsons Wharf on Nothe Parade. The Dive Centre is also a good place to enroll for snorkelling trips and dive training
