From St Albans Head down to Lyme Bay this area supports many many different species of fish and shellfish in a relatively small area of ocean.

They include; Cod, Pollack, Whiting, Grey Mullet, Red Mullet, Plaice, Skate, Brill, Turbot, Scad, Herring, Mackerel, Bass, Squid, Oysters, Cuttlefish, Hake, Scallops, Lobster, Crab, Sole, Sand Eels, Prawns, Conger Eels, John Dory and Monkfish - certain fish being more prolific at certain times of year.
