Castle Cove Sailing Club was formed in 1923 and the clubhouse looks over the Cove with wonderful views across to Portland. It runs a full programme of sailing and social events all year, moorings are available in Castle Cove and there is a bar, showers and galley in the clubhouse.
         

Castle Cove Sailing Club with the other sailing clubs in Weymouth and Portland form the Committee of the Yacht Clubs of Weymouth which organise major events such as Weymouth Town Regatta held annually in July.
